What is AdWords?

AdWords is an internet advertising product developed by Google used to direct traffic to websites. Google allows advertisers to bid on "keywords" also called "search terms" and phrases that are relevant to their business. Advertisers can then create ads that are relative to those keywords and those ads appear on Google's Search Engine Results Page (SERP). Advertisers only pay when a person who is searching for a product or service "clicks" on their ad and end up on their website. This is referred to as "Pay-Per-Click" or PPC Advertising.

AdWords is the most cost-effective advertising available today. With traditional advertising, like Yellow Pages, Newspapers, Flyers, Magazines, TV and Radio there is no guarantee that people will call you, visit your store or go to your website. With PPC Advertising you ONLY pay when someone goes to your website. So every dollar you spend on PPC Advertising is getting you more customers to your website, guaranteed.

Did you know that the results on the first page of a Google search get 79 percent of all clicks? Are you aware that as few as 10 percent of people go beyond the first page of search results? That's why it's important that your business shows up on page one.

1. People search for products or services like yours using "keywords".

5. Get detailed reports to watch your business grow.

AdWords Advantage

There are many advantages why AdWords is a smart choice. Here are just a few of these advantages. Don't worry, we will help you with the decision making.

  • Budget - You set and determine a daily budget and only pay when people click on your ads. Therefore, you control your advertising costs.
  • Cost-Per-Click (CPC) - You decide what the maximum you're willing to pay to get a visitor to your website.
  • Location - You can target and choose the location of who sees your ads and where they are shown. You can refine your location as broad as the world, your country, the U.S., your state, your county, your city or as targeted as a zip code.
  • Time - You can choose the days of the week and the hours you want your ads to run. Only have your ads running when someone is available to answer the phone.
  • Demographics – Certain campaign types allow you to target your customers by age and gender.  You can even exclude demographic categories if you want to exclude people from specific age ranges or genders from seeing your ads.

  • Interests – On the Google Display Network (GDN) you can target your ads to reach people interested in products or services that are like yours by displaying ads on websites in those categories. You can even target specific websites on the GDN.

  • Topics - On the Google Display Network (GDN) your ads can appear on websites that have content similar to your selected topics.
